In my last blog, I told you about Summer Solstice in Espanola and my experience with “giving.” Also, while I was at Summer Solstice, I decided to apply for my spiritual name. Here is the link to the page available which talks about what this means and how to apply.
Making the choice to receive a spiritual name is taking a step toward leaving old patterns behind and connecting more deeply with your infinite self.”

Within two days, I received an email back with my spiritual name. This is the note from the director of Spiritual names:
“You have been blessed to live as Saraswati Anand Kaur, the Princess/Lioness who, as a sacred goddess, brings harmony, prosperity and peace to all by embodying God’s divine bliss.
Saraswati means goddess of wisdom, harmony, prosperity, and peace. Anand refers to bliss. All females receive the name Kaur – the Princess/Lioness of God who walks with grace and strength throughout her life. Yogi Bhajan taught that every woman has the potential to attain this divine state and encouraged all to manifest it.

Using the rich capacity of your name, Saraswati Anand Kaur, reveals your gift – that as a sacred goddess on earth you embody harmony, prosperity and peace, when you connect to the power of God’s bliss. Remember with every breath to merge with this celestial gift. Those around you are elevated by the sweet harmony, profound joy, tranquility and abundance of your oneness with the Divine. Experience the wonderful sound of your name as it enables you to achieve the highest fulfillment of your soul.“
About a week later, I also received this beautiful name plaque.
So this is my spiritual name, Saraswati Anand Kaur.

This is so beautiful, Sylvia! I would like a spiritual name too. I will follow the link. I am so honored to know you. Now I know there is a reason why I kept thinking your name was Sophia. Wisdom is part of your spiritual nature as denoted by Saraswati. The light in me honors the light in you. Namaste.
It is an honor to know you as well. See you on the path. Love, Saraswati
